Dr. Michael Weinstein is Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine specialist with more than 15 years of experience.  He comes to Advocare Pulmonary and Sleep Specialists from Delaware County Memorial Hospital where he served as the section chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.  
 
Dr. Weinstein’s primary focus is the diagnosis and treatment of various pulmonary and sleep diseases, including asthma, COPD (emphysema and chronic bronchitis), interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, obstructive sleep apnea, and pulmonary hypertension. He holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and has repeatedly been awarded the Outstanding Teaching Attending Award.
 
A native of the Philadelphia region, Dr. Weinstein received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, followed by medical school at MCP-Hahnemann. He completed both his Residency and Fellowship at Temple University Hospital. Grounded by his passion for his patients' health and well-being, Dr. Weinstein is noted as a highly respected physician who provides a quality, patient-centered experience. 

In his spare time, Dr. Weinstein likes to spend time with his wife and three teenage children. He enjoys traveling, coaching little league baseball, and staying physically active.
