Dr. Mitchell Jacobs joins Advocare Pulmonary and Sleep Specialists following over 5 years in clinical practice in Bucks County. He is a board-certified pulmonologist with a keen interest in understanding and treating a range of pulmonary and sleep disorders including COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, chronic cough, shortness of breath, obstructive sleep apnea, and more. Dr. Jacobs is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. He brings an individualized approach to medicine, assessing each patient’s needs and values and working to develop a thoughtful, comprehensive plan of care.

Dr. Jacobs received his Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Biology and Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He then graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Following this, Dr. Jacobs completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland. This led him to Philadelphia where he completed his Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, receiving the Outstanding Teaching Fellow Award as voted on by his peers.

When he is not working, Dr. Jacobs enjoys spending downtime with his wife and two kids, whether at home or around the Philadelphia area.
